DENTAL ASSISTANTS (Oral Surgery)
***$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS***
Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is searching for experienced and highly motivated Oral Surgery Dental Assistants to join the team at our Elk River location. As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the Oral Surgeon and patients to ensure that all procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Oral Surgeon in the delivery of treatment to the patients. You will be responsible for providing a high level of patient care, ensuring patient comfort, and assisting with the administration of anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Oral Surgeon with the delivery of treatment to the patients
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Provide a high level of patient care and ensure patient comfort
- Administer anesthesia under the supervision of the Oral Surgeon
- Digital X-Rays
- Maintain accurate patient records (EMR)
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical and surgical supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions to the patient
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Exposure to extractions (local and general) is helpful along with a strong chairside skillset.
*Our hours are Mon - Thurs 7:00am - 3:30pm and Fri 7:00a - 1:00p *Also willing to discuss PT with days worked to = Mon, Thurs, Fri

Requirements
- Completion of an Accredited Dental Assisting Program *New grads are encouraged to apply
- Current Dental Certification / Licensure
- Current BLS/CPR or ACLS Certification
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Allied Sedation Certification (we will assist with obtaining this certification if needed)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism at all times
Salary : $28 - $32
