Financial Coordinator - Smiley Tooth Pediatric Dental Specialists

Description

We are looking for a Financial Coordinator someone who would be responsible for inputting insurance payments, handling insurance claims and appeals along with assisting the Practice Manager in A/R.  We are looking for a team player, someone who will be comfortable working with the front office team, answering phone calls, assisting with checking in patients and checking out and presenting treatment plans. 

• Computer skills including practice management software
• Familiarity with dental insurance protocols
• Familiarity with ADA Dental codes and reading EOBs. 
• Ability to function within a team environment and be a supportive and positive contributor
• Ability to market the practice
• Superb verbal skills with, insurance companies, third party companies and team
• Ability to take direction for personal improvement
• Overall comprehension of practice vision, mission and systems
• Exercises discretion and independent judgment regarding coverage and insurance estimates.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist parents with scheduling and answering insurance questions
• Assist front office team members with presenting treatment plans and scheduling dental appointments
• Excellent computer skills and ability to use practice software systems.  
• Specialized understanding and experience in handling insurance matters in a medical setting.
• Actively pursues provision of excellent customer service.  
• Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner. 
• Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
• Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.  
• Must maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• One Year Minimum Office experience.
• Dental experience Preferred.

Salary : $16 - $21
