Job Summary/Responsibilities

With the support of the Practice Manager, ensure the smooth and successful running of all financial aspects of the Practice.

To be responsible in assisting to produce performance and quality standards within the Practice financials, delivered through customer service skills, attention to detail and common sense.

To be responsible for the maintenance of the practice’s financial processes, contracts, reports, documents, reporting any errors to the Practice Manager.

Duties Include

• Verify insurance benefits, bill insurances.
• Monitors patient contract receivables, including insurance payments, to maximize cash flow and practice profitability.
• Track each patient financially through orthodontic treatment.
• Performs delinquent account collection activities.
• Runs and tracks all financial reports
• Works hard to achieve goals for the office
• Assist in administrative team covering telephones, greeting patients, and scheduling patients.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 1 year of insurance experience is required (orthodontics preferred)
• be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude
• possess great understanding of dental insurance and insurance processing
• have excellent communication and telephone skills
• work well with patients and team
• be experienced in delivering high-level customer service
• Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
