Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a multi-site oral surgery practice, ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Maintain compliance with company protocols, regulatory agencies, and OSHA standards.
- Manage patient records, office policies, and equipment maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and hold staff accountable for performance and daily tasks.
- Conduct staff evaluations, provide coaching, and coordinate ongoing training.
- Manage scheduling, PTO approvals, and team communication.
- Monitor office budget, expenses, and financial transactions.
- Track practice performance metrics, analyze reports, and develop improvement strategies.
- Oversee patient account collections and assist with financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing Manager to plan events and represent the practice.
- Attend industry-related training and professional development programs.
- Ensure excellent patient service, resolving scheduling, financial, and insurance issues.
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment.
- Organize and lead administrative meetings, prepare agendas, and drive practice initiatives.
- Participate in emergency response protocols and assist as needed.
- Adapt to changing practice needs, travel between locations, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of CDT codes preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Must be comfortable in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
- Strong patient relations, organization, interpersonal and communication skills motivating team members.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite and applicable dental software programs including DSN.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- CPR Certification
- Minimum three (3) years management experience, preferably in a multi-site dental or OMS office.
