Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Agricultural Sales Representative to join our team. This commission-based role focuses exclusively on the agriculture sector, offering an opportunity to drive sales and make a significant impact in an innovative and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Outreach: Identify and contact potential agricultural clients, including farmers, growers, and agribusinesses.
- Client Engagement: Educate clients on the benefits of drone-based fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide applications.
- Sales Strategy: Develop tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of agricultural clients, emphasizing efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural organizations to drive repeat business.
- Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct field visits, present drone application capabilities, and provide live demonstrations when necessary.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about agricultural trends, challenges, and opportunities to position Specialty Drone Solutions as a key partner.
- Sales Reporting: Track leads, sales, and client feedback, reporting results to the management team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in agriculture or related industries.
- Strong understanding of farming practices and agricultural needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with drone technology or precision agriculture is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the agricultural region.
