WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN?
- Taking patient medical histories
- Instructing patients regarding medications, tests, and procedures
- Performing vision and diagnostic tests
- Assisting with patient procedures
- Supervising and training other ophthalmic personnel
- Coordinating patient schedules
- Gain firsthand experience
What you know
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
Desired
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a medical practice
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology

Schedule:
Variable hours Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5pm- some evenings
ability to travel to other SEI locations minimum 1x per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
