Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled operating Foreman in the Salt Lake City area who is willing to travel. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery, leading a crew, and previous pier or pile experience is preferred. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and companies.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment. Excavators used for drilling and hammering, not digging.
- Perform site tasks such as JSA's, jobsite meetings, scheduling deliveries, coordinating workflow, and effectively communicating with crew members.
- Work with on-site QC manager to ensure the highest quality work.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with General Contractor to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators or mast style drilling rigs.
- Previous experience leading a crew.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as needed on-site.

- 8-12 hour shifts
- Saturdays as needed

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
