What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Nurse Practitioner position at Specialty Hospice?
Specialty Hospice is looking for a Hospice Nurse Practitioner to provide support to terminally ill patients by completing face to face visits to help determine ongoing eligibility for hospice services. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces the end of their lives, support our hospice philosophy and collaborate with physician and team in development of the plan of care. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be knowledgeable of hospice eligibility criteria and end of life symptoms; as well as having the ability to function independently and follow through with schedule. This is a flexible position although you will have to meet certain regulatory time frames. We cover the Central MS counties--Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Copiah, and Warren.
