What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver/Warehouseman position at Specialty Imports, Inc.?
Specialty Imports is currently looking for a reliable team player to fill the position of Warehouse worker / Order Picker. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders from the warehouse, working incoming freight and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. The position will also include some delivery/ merchandising work to accounts. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Essential duties and responsibilities
- Pick/pull complex orders from inventory
- Must become familiar with a complex inventory of almost 2000 sku's
- Work incoming freight
- Routinely lift up to 50 pounds
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Deliver product to customers when needed
- Stocking merchandise
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Strong customer service skills
- Possess a positive and professional attitude
- Highly organized and motivated
- Reliable and on time
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
- Able to pass DOT physical
- Must provide driving record
- Have reliable transportation
- Forklift experience a plus
- Delivery truck driving experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
