What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audiologist position at SPECIALTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES OF OUACHITA LLC?
We are seeking an Audiologist to join our team. The Audiologist will provide diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative audiological services to patients of all ages.
SUMMARY:
- Provides rehabilitative audiological services.
- Administers and interprets audiological tests, develops a treatment plan, and establishes goals for each patient.
- Monitors progress of recommendations and treatment plans and reassesses as appropriate.
- Calibrates equipment, prepares related reports, and maintains the audiological suite, materials, and supplies.
- Provides information to patients and families.
- Logs procedures and submits charges.
- Writes evaluation reports and daily progress notes on a timely basis.
- Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge in field of audiology
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in audiology.
- Current license or eligibility for licensing as an audiologist
- Certified or certification eligible by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
