EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Associate of science degree or bachelor’s degree in an applied science or a science technology program required.
Graduate of an approved nuclear technologist program preferred
Previous experience in nuclear technologist role preferred
Basic knowledge and experience with nuclear cardiac stress tests as well as the Bruce Protocol treadmill only exams.
Must be able to ensure that the amount of radiation administered to each patient is as minimal as possible.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be licensed in the state of Louisiana
