What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN-CATH LAB position at SPECIALTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES OF OUACHITA LLC?
SUMMARY:
- Collects relevant patient health data, analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and identifies individualized, expected outcomes for a specific population.
- The RN systematically evaluates the patient’s progress toward attaining expected outcomes and adjusts care accordingly.
- The RN acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in the care of acute or critically ill patients.
- Will be required to complete and maintain BLS certification.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BLS training required
- ACLS & Balloon Pump required within 6 months of employment
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Currently licensed in the State of Louisiana to practice as an RN, or holds a temporary permit in the State of Louisiana
- BLS certification.
