MSK Precision Products is looking for a talented, highly experienced Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / CMM Technician to join our team. We specialize in manufacturing superior high precision parts and assembly for the medical, aerospace and DOD industries. With a packaging and assembly department, MSK is capable of providing individual parts or complete finished assemblies for their customers. Core competencies include Precision Swiss-Style Turning, CNC 5 Axis Precision Cutter Grinding, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Laser Marking, Laser Welding, Wire EDM, and Passivation. AS9100D Certified - ISO 13485 Certified - ISO 9001 Certified.
Job Summary
Inspects products at various stages of production process (first piece, in-process, incoming and final) to determine product acceptance. Operate CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection and testing of production components and assemblies. Recommends revision of specifications when indicated. Performs Quality System internal audits. Conducts root cause analysis. Interfaces with engineering and production within the company on quality related issues.

Job Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections using basic inspection gauges (micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, pins, etc).
- Perform receiving inspections (before outside and after outside processing) as required.
- Perform 1st piece, in-process inspections.
- Inspect shift parts at least once per shift.
- Proficient running CMM or Smart Scope programs.
- Proficient with manually checking parts on Smart Scope or Comparator.
- Proficient with manually checking surface finish using Surface Analyzer.
- Proficient with manually checking tight Outside Diameter using a Laser Micrometer.
- Proficient with interpretation of engineering and customer drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with inspecting and recording SPC / Cpk and GR&R results.
- Proficient with development and maintenance of Inspection Check Sheets or Quality Plans.
- Qualified and Proficient with Honeywell SPOC requirements, helpful but not required.
- Qualified and Proficient with preparing AS9102 documentation.
- Qualified and Proficient with preparing Detailed Inspection Plans (DIPs).
- Prepare Certificate of Compliance shipping document.
- Perform Honeywell, other Aerospace, Medical companies’ inspections and prepare shipping documents as required.
- Ensure that final quality records and files are scanned and maintained.
- Create Discrepant Material Record (DMRs) and ensure they are dispositioned and processed in a timely manner.
- Advise, train, and help Inspectors and Operators as required regarding inspection needs.
- Ensure that daily production and shipping requirements are met each day.
- Conduct ISO internal audits as required.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning related to top inspection failure modes
- Keep Management / Lead informed of inspection status of jobs.
