Nephrology Associates prides itself on providing the highest quality of care to all patients with chronic kidney disease and other kidney disorders in the greater Kansas City area. Since the first day Nephrology Associates has grown to an interdisciplinary team of thirteen Nephrologists, eight nurse practitioners and a qualified staff to assist you with your healthcare needs. We provide care at eight offices, are a part of eight hospital medical staffs, and serve at many outpatient dialysis facilities throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. We are here for you.
We are looking to hire a personable and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler & Receptionist, skilled in providing compassionate care to all of our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients and scheduling appointments, and may need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping a calm, friendly demeanor. A successful candidate will be capable of working well under pressure and performing administrative duties with accuracy. Must be willing to travel to other clinics on a as needed basis. The hours you would be working are: Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 5:00PM and Friday 8:30AM - 12:30PM. This would be 40 hours per week. If you are a Medical Assistant, we encourage you to apply or someone that has worked in the Medical field before.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients politely.
- Provide patients with information about their appointment or scheduling.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Handle the flow of people through the office.
- Know the location of supplies and equipment.
- Answer questions about office's hours and location.
- Assist patients who need extra help.
- Know all of the office's policies and procedures.
- Be willing to travel to other clinics on a as needed basis. Will be reimbursed for mileage for travel in-between clinics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
