Requirements:
- Active BLS
- Open
- Knowledge and ability to adhere to HIPAA
- Available Sun - Tuesday (7PM - 7:30AM)
Respiratory care is provided in a collaborative environment where the clinical and technical expertise of the respiratory care staff is valued by nursing and physician professionals. Respiratory care staff are encouraged to participate in clinical and operational processes, education of peers and patients, and research activities.
Respiratory therapists are involved in airway management, ventilatory support (including high frequency and NAVA), asthma education, point of care testing, cystic fibrosis disease management, and emergency respiratory interventions. We are a vital part of the rapid response team and the code team.
