Assistant Shop Coordinator

We are looking for an Assistant Shop Coordinator to help in the day to day activities to organize and run construction painting crews. You will work under the General Manager who will assign you the needs of each day. Any experience in the construction/painting industry would be helpful but not necessary.

The candidate will be trained according to the needs of the job. Work schedule will be Mon-Fri starting at 7:00am at the shop, and most days will be 8 hrs depending on the needs for the day.

Some of the job details and duties are:

- Inspecting paint job quality and fixing or completing anything that needs to be done to mark the job completed.

- Communicate with crews for their job needs

- Getting crews the paint and materials needed to complete the projects.

- Cleaning and organizing the shop, tools and equipment.

- Help maintain and organize repairs for company fleet vehicles.

- Assist in any other needs of the paint crews or office work

Requirements needed to do the job:

- Mobile phone

- Vehicle to get to the shop, and to help deliver materials and paint as needed to job sites.

- Valid drivers license

Candidate should have:

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to problem solve and help solve issues before they become major.

- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and other computer skills.

- Feel comfortable driving larger work express vehicles.

- Ability to speak Spanish will be very helpful but not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
