SPC’s client base includes some of the largest general contractors in the country. We work with our clients to provide design services, materials and installation of the Barrier Cable System. We are currently seeking an Project Coordinator who wants to become a part of our total project development process. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable and responsible as well have good people skills while working as part of a team in a casual, yet professional environment.
Position: Construction Project Coordinator
Position Location: Columbus, GA
Description of work:
- Produce drawing and product data submittal packages.
- Review returned submittal packages and make necessary revisions if required.
- Produce material take-offs.
- Build and maintain project folders including properly filing project drawings and documents.
- Search for, download and print bid project drawings.
- Work with sales professional to review bid project drawings and accurately complete initial material take-off.
- Assist project manager with material procurement and project installation set-up.
- Order, receive, and prepare project materials and equipment for installation crews.
Education and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Proficient in construction technologies, scheduleing and equipment.
- Dedicated to the success of the team, including self, peers and superiors.
- Must work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take direction and perform specific tasks without direct supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, technical, and logical mind
