What are the responsibilities and job description for the Degreed Professional Manager (DPM) position at Specialty Products & Services Inc.?
Degreed Professional Managers (DPM) are the front line leaders responsible for the overall care of the consumers and to manage the contracted services. They will coordinate with departments necessary to ensure the consumer's are cared for and that contracted services are delivered. DPMs provide Quality Assurance, and are responsible for reviewing all documents to ensure services are tracked correctly and to the satisfaction of the Federal and State Code of Regulations (Medicaid Regulations). DPMs will make timely decisions based on written outcomes and objectives. DPMs are leaders of field staff, and will ensure they perform their duties as prescribed by FCR and CSR regulations, as well as company policy. DPMs will perform counseling with staff to correct issues, or track excellence. DPMs report to the President/Director directly, and coordinate with other office staff in the agency. Their duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Individualized staff training that focuses on assigned consumers and their individualized plan, monitor staff's performance, conduct meetings with house staff in the homes, conduct Service Monitoring checks in each home, ensure staff evaluations are completed, liaison with case managers, service coordinators and guardians on consumer related issues.
