This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, medical documentation, and the ability to work effectively in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. The Nursing Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients while assisting with their daily needs.
- Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide support in medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records.
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering emergency medicine when necessary.
- Engage with patients experiencing behavioral health challenges with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support the nursing staff in various clinical tasks within both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and health status.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential.
- Experience in home community care or clinic settings is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
- Previous experience in emergency medicine or trauma care is advantageous but not mandatory.
