We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care in various settings, including nursing homes, urgent care facilities, and both inpatient and outpatient environments. This role is crucial in delivering quality patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide support in memory care settings by engaging patients in cognitive activities.
- Assist nursing staff with critical care tasks as needed.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner to document patient information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Every other weekend
- Can choose 36 or 48 hour contract
- Required to float to other units.
- This facility will not pre-approve any holiday week RTO. They schedule every other holiday here but they cannot guarantee specific holidays off in the contract.\
- BLS, MD CNA license and GNA
- LTAC & Med Surg exp (ICU and Rehab preferred)
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (Required)
- Baltimore, MD 21215 : Relocate before starting work (Required)
