Job Summary:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixes and serves a wide range of cocktails and beverages with accuracy and efficiency
- Serves drinks and food to bar guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Observes guests to respond to their needs and ensures total guest satisfaction
- Fulfills alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication of guests
- Participates in and passes alcohol awareness and safety training classes
- Orders and maintains inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies
- Operates P.O.S. computer quickly and efficiently
- Balances and secures all moneys at the end of shift
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass bar training and validation process
- High school or 1 year similar experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate English
Work Environment:
- Medium work demands: exerting approx. 30 lbs several times per shift
- Walking and standing during a 6-8 hour shift
- Must be able to effectively card all guests who appear under the age of 30 for alcohol purchases
