Basic Job Duties:
- Prepare menu items according to recipe requirements and adhere to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines.
- Read tickets and prepare orders.
- Maintain superior quality in production of all food items.
- Work efficiently to ensure timely output of restaurant menu items.
- Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shifts.
- Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station.
- Break down and clean station thoroughly every day.
- Ensure proper rotation of all products to par.
- Adhere to Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned, such as stock counts, labeling, and signage of products.
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Current food safety certification, such as ServSafe and SafeStaff, or ability to obtain upon hire.
Experience: 2 years of experience in line cooking or preparation capacity
Physical Demands:
- Frequent lifting, moving, and carrying of kitchen ware, cleaning equipment, food boxes, garbage weighing up to 30-40 pounds.
- Occasional ascending/descending stairs across the restaurant to move food items, equipment, etc.
- Repeating motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
