General Manager Position

Our Candidate: Specialty Restoration of Texas is searching for an experienced and growth-oriented General Manager who will provide overall leadership and direction to our Dallas area service territory and employees and generate over $4MM in revenue annually. We are looking for people with high energy and a sense of urgency with the ability to lead others and execute multiple tasks simultaneously. A successful candidate will have management experience in the in construction and/or restoration service industry. He or she will be experienced in P&L reporting and comprehension, along with understanding cash flow, variable costs, and fixed costs. As General Manager you will have primary responsibility for staffing, training and leading the Dallas team for business development, estimating, sales, project management, and production. Your success will be measured on lead generation, closing procedure, revenue per job, quality, customer service, productivity, and overall brand profitability. The General Manager will also focus on meeting and exceeding operating and financial budget goals, client objectives, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be focused on ensuring operational excellence in the delivery of the services Specialty Restoration provides.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of the organization including full P&L responsibility.
- Responsible for training, developing, and managing sales, marketing, administrative and operational personnel.
- Ability to recruit qualified employees and subcontractors while visualizing future business growth.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance in all state and local regulatory processes and TPA programs.
- Delivering corporate financial results and achieving goals through daily management.
- Drive operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity.
- Building and maintaining “Above and Beyond” customer service levels in your region.
- Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Collaborating with sale and operations to improve the customer’s overall experience, while meeting company objectives.
- Ensure a positive work environment for all employees with a focus on company culture.
- Utilize effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- 5 years management/operations experience in Property Restoration industry or Construction Management.
- High degree of integrity and business maturity.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Previous P&L experience required to include managing million-dollar budgets.
- Sound understanding of business reports and budget planning.
- Ideal candidates will possess a high energy level that is communicated to the team they will lead.
- Proven negotiation skills that help drive results.
- The ability to manage in a diverse and sometimes chaotic environment while remaining focused on clients and high level of customer service.
- Ability to identify areas of employee performance improvements.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license
Benefits: As a General Manager, you will receive a base salary along with performance bonuses based on the profitability of your service territory.
