What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Manager position at Specialty Screw Corporation?
- Responsible for coordinating the purchase of all raw materials, tooling, purchased parts and components, and operating supplies through JIT practices to support manufacturing. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers; coordinating cost savings, providing delivery performance reports, and resolving nonconformance issues. Supervision of wire room and purchasing assistant. College degree or equivalent management training. Prefer purchasing certification and/or minimum of five years of similar experience. Pay range $25-$30 per hour depending on experience. Medical insurance available at 30 days, other voluntary benefits available at 90 days.
