Specialty Sports Cars has been in business for over 45yrs delivering the highest standard of High-end European and collectible domestic automobile repair, restoration and concierge level car storage and services in one location. We are looking for qualified and motivated individuals to join our team.
Automobile Technician Job Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair both older and current types of automobiles and to work with the management and parts team to resolve customer problems and issues. And in addition, occasionally be able to take on small scope restoration projects and work with the lead mechanic on completing those projects.
- Perform work as outlined on the repair order.
- Diagnose the cause of the malfunction and perform needed repair.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Save and tag the parts replaced for customer inspection or for return under warranty.
- Examine the vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is recommended.
- Communicate with the service advisor if additional work is needed.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Road test vehicles when required .
- Supervise the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the manager.
- Ensure the customers' cars are kept clean. Notify the service manager immediately
of any damage occurs to the car during repair and testing.

Work and Benefits : Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Monday through Friday. There
is 1 hour for lunch and two fifteen minute breaks. Medical, Paid Time Off, 401k and
other benefits are available. The major holidays (7) are paid.
