JOB TITLE : PreOp Coordinator

Essential Functions :
The PreOp Coordinator is responsible for reviewing patients' medical histories, ensuring all necessary diagnostic information is complete, and supporting the preoperative process. This includes verifying lab work, EKGs, chest X-rays, and escalating concerns to Anesthesia or the Clinical Manager. The Anesthesia team provides the final clearance for surgical procedures.
Supervision Received : Administrator and clinical leadership
Experience Required :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience communicating effectively with physician offices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. For the majority of our positions this would be a climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours. Occasional evening and / or weekend work.
