Details:
- Hiring 3 Full-time Pharmacy Technician Trainees (1 - 1st shift & 2-2nd shift) to work in the Toting/ Shipping area
- Full Benefits effective the first of the month after 60 days. Earn up to 120 hours of PTO annually.
- $1000.00 Sign On Bonus paid out after 6 months
- A $500.00 Referral Bonus paid out after the new hire completes 90 days of satisfactory work performance
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of a supervisor, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations process all returned medications.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and/or licensed pharmacist.
- Process returned medications from the facilities for credit or destruction in accordance with standards of pharmacy practice.
- Keep records appropriate by updating pharmacy software. Return “credited” medications to the appropriate shelves.
- Dispose of labels in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations.
- Dispose of medication in accordance with safety and company policies.
- Perform Pharmacy Technician duties when necessary and during a “slow” time.
- Continue to educate by attending drug in-services and by keeping up with policy changes.
- Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent Registered with Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Accurate medication and generic knowledge
- Computer literate
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be detail-oriented
