What are the responsibilities and job description for the Genetic Testing One (1) Shift Per Month - Hohenwald, TN position at SPECIMEN SPECIALISTS OF AMERICA, INC.?
Our company would like to hire a new primary DNA collector at our Hohenwald, TN location to conduct paternity testing for families receiving services through the Child Support Services of Tennessee. Having a background related to the medical field is preferred but not required for this position. Thi9s is an extremely part time position and a great opportunity to earn supplemental income as well as provide an important services for families and children in the state of Tennessee.
Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yest be able to work independently. Applicants must also have reliable transportation, value punctuality, and are able to report for their scheduled test dates.
- LOCATION: Child Support Services Office - Hohenwald, TN
- SCHEDULE: One (1) Tuesday per month (schedule for the year is provided in advance)
- PAY RATE: $16.00/hour
All staff will receive complete online and phone training prior to starting. All supplies required for this position will be supplied be provided.
** A background check will be conducted upon hire**
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform buccal (cheek swab) specimen collection
- Take photos and ink prints of all clients
- Must be detail oriented to ensure specimens are accurately labeled and all related paperwork is fully and accurately completed
- Ship samples to the lab at the end of each shift (FedEx shipping supplies are provided)
- Keep track of supply inventory and submit supply orders as needed.
