What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reliable DNA Collector needed - 2nd and 4th Tuesday (Clarkesville GA) position at SPECIMEN SPECIALISTS OF AMERICA, INC.?
We are looking to hire the right candidate to serve as our primary DNA collector in Clarkesville GA at the Department of Child Support Office for their pending child support cases. Having a background related to the medical field is preferred, but not required. This is a part-time position (only 2 shifts per month) and is a great opportunity to earn supplemental income as well as provide an important service for families and children in which custody and child support arrangements are determined upon the results from their court-ordered genetic testing.
Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude.
- LOCATION: Department of Child Support, Clarkesville GA
- SCHEDULE: 2nd and 4th Tuesday
- AFTERNOON HOURS: 9:30am-1:30pm
All staff will receive complete online training/ over the phone follow up training. All supplies including gloves, alcohol wipes, testing kits, camera, film, ink pad will also be provided. A background check will also be conducted after hire.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be punctual and professional with office staff and clients
- Have great written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with performing buccal (cheek swab) specimen collections
- Take Photos and Ink prints of all clients
- Must be detail oriented to ensure specimens are accurately labeled and Chain of Custody paperwork is completely fully and correctly
- Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
- Keep track of supply inventory and submit supply orders as needed
