Job Overview:

As the Eyewear Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the eyewear department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team of eyewear specialists.

1. Customer Service & Sales:

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Assist customers in selecting eyewear that suits their needs, style, and budget.
• Provide expert knowledge of eyewear products, lens options, and frames.
• Grow in knowledge about optics.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to eyewear products, orders, and services.

2. Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise and motivate the eyewear team to achieve individual and team goals.
• Train and coach team members on eyewear products, customer service skills, and knowledge.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork.

3. Inventory Management:

• Oversee the eyewear inventory, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and displayed.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders for frames, lenses, and other accessories as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of product returns, exchanges, and repairs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage product assortment and restocks.

4. Operational Efficiency:

• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures regarding eyewear sales, safety, and operational processes.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer orders, and special requests.
• Oversee the fitting, adjustment, and repair of eyewear products to meet quality standards and ensure staff are up to these standards.
• Ensure that the eyewear department is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

5. Marketing & Promotions:

• Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales.
• Promote new products and seasonal collections to keep the store’s offerings fresh and appealing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
