Solutions Architect (PreSales) -
Colorado (Denver/Boulder area)
We are seeking a competitive, self-motivated individual to join our Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) team. This pre-salesperson provides technical/functional/architectural support to both existing and prospective customers. Uses technical, influencing and relationship-building skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum solutions are provided to customers. Assists Sales in campaign strategies.

Required:
- 5 years’ experience serving in a pre-sales or related customer facing role.
- High Performance Computing experience
- Experience with tape libraries
- Federal technology market experience
- Strong planning and time-management skills.
Helpful:
- Working knowledge of Cloud data storage.
- Familiarity with data storage or backup software industry.
- Working knowledge of NAS.
- Working knowledge of backup and archive processes and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of data migration strategies and use of scripting is a nice-to-have.
- Working knowledge of storage arrays, networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments.
- Sharp writing, verbal and presentation skills.
Location: Colorado (Spectra HQ is Boulder, ability to be in-person at HQ when needed)
Education: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related business/technical field is preferred.
Travel: This remote role is expected to travel up to customer sites, up to 50% of the time.
Status: Full Time, Direct Hire Exempt Position
Compensation: Base $124,800 - $149,600 Commission
