Summary
The accountant is a professional accounting position within the CFO organization with responsibility for various accounting activities. The accountant will be assigned to functional areas to include: corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, property accounting, accounts receivables, accounts payable, financial accounting, tax accounting, payroll and benefits accounting, reconciliations, and/or audits. Assignments may include maintaining journals and ledgers, preparing financial statements and reports, reviewing and approving transaction, posting entries, account reconciliations, collecting and evaluating data, conducting analysis, involved in problem resolution, policy/process interpretation, and making recommendations. The accountant develops sound, practical solutions to a variety of accounting, financial, or tax problems where guidelines are well-defined.
Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
