What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation & Control Engineer (Electrical Engineer) position at Spectra Tech, Inc.?
Provide a Sr. Electrical Engineer that has expertise in instrument and control design. Must have experience in designing controls systems that meet ISA 84. Some of the scopes of work are a design that allows for remote and local fan controls with use of new/existing soft starters and variable frequency drives, preparing scopes of work for pneumatic building ventilation system upgrade to DDC as well as developing a phased approach to the system replacement, developing a physical data network cabling system for classified and unclassified computing/phone systems, designing a new campus public address system, field support to various controls systems which may include configuration of data switches, web relays, RTUs and associated computing devices. The engineer will be required to prepare design drawings, specifications, review vendor submittals, and implement designs in the field and support acceptance testing. Experience with nuclear facilities is preferred.
