Process / Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Plan, orgainze, coordinate process / mechanical engineering and mult-disciplined team / design projects whilke engaged in the planning design and construction phases of engineering projects through project start-up.
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications related to P&ID development.
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems, waste and water systems, and equipment design.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Other Job Requirements :
Must be a US Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Dept of Energy Orders), State and Local Codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Education and Experience :
Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
