  • Job Description :

    • For the line calcs and thickness calcs

    • Structural / nuclear codes : IBC, ACI 318 & 349, ASCE 4, 7 & 43, AISC 360 / N690
    • Post-installed concrete anchorage evaluations
    • Welded and bolted steel connection design
    • structural finite element analysis software (RISA, SAP, GT Strudl, or STAAD)
    • modal response spectrum and equivalent static analysis
    • Mathcad - Very important for this position
    • stainless steel provisions - ASCE 8

      • For line calcs only

    • GT Strudl
    • Abaqus CAE (Abaqus GUI pre-processor for building models)
    • scripting in general, but especially Python
