Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities in the accounts receivable function
- Authorization for Expenditures responsibility (Expenses, PO’s, Invoices, Asset Setup, etc.)
- Responsible for accounts receivable POs in all aspects (setup, change orders, revisions)
- In charge of all accounts receivable invoice and monthly sales procedures
- Update and maintain current purchase order year to date contract log spreadsheet, W-9 forms and spreadsheet, Christmas expense, year-end spreadsheets for AMTEC, month-end reports, and accrual reports and files
- Work and assist upper management, AMTEC, and Auditors with requested needs (research, reports, etc.)
- Work with HR for Spectra Payroll responsibilities
- Assist and provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
- Document, balance, reconcile, and report to AMTEC all American Express Credit Card Expenses
- Request, create, and enter new shop order numbers and steps
- Save and Upload all Spectra reports to required folders
- Backup for Accounts Payable
- Plans, studies, and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
- Analyzes data collected and generates cost reports as required
- Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
- Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual production costs
- Must be a self-motivated team player and have strong organizational skills. Experience in a manufacturing office environment preferred
- Must assist Finance/IT Manager in various bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities as assigned
- Must perform tracking, maintain files, and report to management as required.
- Perform administrative tasks

- Flexibility and capability to adapt quickly to changing job assignments
- MUST have the ability to coordinate and work well with peers and supervision
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Education and Experience:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or its equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a related area preferred. Education may be considered in lieu of experience
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience in use of office machines (copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.)
- Experience in Quality Assurance will be a plus
- Ability to clearly communicate in writing and/or verbal communication
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Multi-tasking a must
- Candidate must be available for occasional overtime as needed.
- Solid ability to problem solve and make good decisions
Training Requirements:
- Amendable to additional training and/or instructions involving off-site travel
Physical Job Demands:
- Continuous mental and visual attention required
- Job may be performed while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOD regulations
- Minimal lifting required
