What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Farmers Market Staff position at Spectracolor Coffee?
Spectracolor Coffee Roasters is looking for an awesome barista, who will also set up and staff our farmers markets
Strong customer service skills and a passion for specialty coffee is a must for this position. Ultimately, the job is to ensure an excellent experience for our guests.
Barista Details
- Brew coffee beverages for customers while adhering to recipes and quality standards
- Handle and prepare pastries
- Maintain neat and orderly workspace and store environment
- Operate POS to process orders and cash register with accuracy and efficiency
- Keep shop clean including bathroom
- Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to manager
- Other duties as appropriate as assigned by Manager

Farmers Market Staff
- Be able to answer customer questions about the products.
- Take payments, make change, and record transactions.
- Be courteous, respectful, and going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Setting up and maintaining the booth - Ensuring the booth is attractive, organized, and properly stocked.
- Stocking and restocked: Keeping the booth stocked with products and ensuring items are displayed attractively.
- Cleaning and maintaining the booth: Keeping the booth tidy and ensuring it meets cleanliness standards.
- Transporting products to and from the market.
Part time - 2 barista shifts at the shop and 1-2 farmers markets during the weekend
