What are the responsibilities and job description for the Datacenter Technician position at SPECTRAFORCE?
Role : Data Center Operations Technician
Location : Englewood, CO (Onsite)
Duration : 12 months
Schedule & Hours :
Thursday through Sunday. 8 hrs. on Thurs & Friday 12 hrs. on Sat & Sun . Total 40 hrs. per week
Thursday & Friday 8am - 4 pm
Sat & Sunday 8am - 8pm
Required Skills :
- Experience in a 24 / 7 production environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Operating systems
- Fundamental knowledge of networking - Routing, Subnets, Communication protocols
- Technical aptitude and experience with building management systems, including UPS, generators, HVAC, PDUs, and a working understanding of AC and DC power.
- Should be familiar with cable color coding (tip / ring), and at a minimum 568A and B pinouts.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within an IT Support environment.
