Job title: Documentation Specialist II

Location: Swiftwater, PA, 18370

Duration: 12 months

This position's starting pay is: $28.00/hr.


  • Hours ideally 8/9am - 4/5pm EST, no OT. 4 days onsite, with potential one day WFH pending performance/eligibility after training. During training, they will need to commit to five days onsite.
  • Bachelors degree preferred but open to AA if they have strong work experience.
  • Must have 3-6 years experience with documentation revision/coordinating. Pharma not required.
  • Day in the life: Review raw material specifications, revise change controls, administrative changes, ensure docs align with acceptance criteria, use third party system to verify info is correct, review and approve workflows, close out the corresponding change action, network onsite to gather required info. This role is more of an individual contributor, but need to be a cross-functional team player since they will be working with many departments. Viva experience is a huge bonus as they will primarily be working in viva and Microsoft suite.


Description:

  • Track and review change control documentation.
  • Assist with the editing of quality documents (SOPs, guidelines, validation master plans, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, be able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Prepare and/or maintain documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation, and user documentation.
  • Translate business specifications into user documentation.
  • Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation efforts; including online help screens.
  • Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
