Job Title: Electrical Superintendent
Duration: 12 Months Assignment

Description:
The Electrical Superintendent oversees field operations on assigned projects to ensure safe, timely, and profitable completion.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises construction work for an assigned area of a project.
- Maintains job progress continuity and maximizes efficiencies related to the assigned area.
- Oversight responsibilities include raceway, cable tray, electrical panels, ductbank, grounding, switchgear, transformers, wiring, motors, heat tracing, instrumentation, and electrical testing.
- Supervises overall construction effort, including safety, productivity, material use, materials management, scheduling, engineering, and contractual performance.
- Ensures subcontractor compliance with electrical construction activities and builds effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Interfaces with client representatives, architects/engineers, and other contractors.
- Collaborates with project management to develop project procedures and standards.
- AUTHORIZES purchase requisitions, field design changes, etc., under supervision.
- Responsible for overall project safety, reviewing site-specific safety documentation, and conducting tests.
- Provides oversight of electrical installation, conducts tests, and records results.
- Completes daily field reports and documents construction progress.
- Assesses future work activities, identifies concerns, and develops as-built drawings.
- Directs and manages subcontractors to comply with project schedules and tracks progress.
- Verifies material deliveries meet specifications and coordinates preventative maintenance.
- Calls out unqualified welders and witnesses equipment setting and alignment.
- Walks down systems prior to, during, and post hydrostatic testing to verify compliance.
- Executes project scope and change orders, oversees craft supervision, and provides oversight of project material management.
- Supervises daily field construction activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Reads, interprets, and understands isometric drawings, structural drawings, and P&IDs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT must have Heavy Industrial Experience.
- Minimum 10 years' experience working as an Electrical Superintendent.
- LOTO experience working under or managing.
- Power plant experience.
- Refinery experience.
- Bachelor Degree and 7 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on electrical projects.
- Associate Degree and 9 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on electrical projects.
- High School Diploma/GED and 11 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on electrical projects.
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
