Primary Job function
This position provides specialized technical support services by performing any combination of complex or non-routine duties involving the selection and use of procedures and/or equipment in support of medical diagnostic instrument and/or reagent development and production.
The individuals in this role will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair and upgrades on a high throughput blood analyzer in a cGMP/GLP environment. Work will involve long periods of time standing and working reaching into a complex densely configured analyzer.

- Mechanical/Fluidic/Electrical/Software Troubleshooting, History with reading through electronic instrument logs
- Experience with work and documentation within a cGLP/Quality/Regulated environment
- Experience with reading electrical/mechanical/fluidic diagrams and drawings, and Solid Interest/Technical skills within the scope of our projects (e.g. soldering, fluidics, machining, mechanical aptitude, software, etc.).
- Working within a Bio Med environment a plus skillset previous person have that complimented the role.
- Current team members have a range of backgrounds with strong experience troubleshooting complex integrated systems. It is extremely beneficial to have good experiential recall, keen attention to detail and good team interpersonal skills.

- May create tools and fixtures specific to functional area. May work closely with engineers to execute product design.
- Constructs complex engineering prototypes; models and builds special test equipment. May perform testing on prototype electrical and/or mechanical designs.
- Conducts complex testing, analysis and troubleshooting. Conducts testing to determine effectiveness of product specifications.
- Complies to all safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Education:
- High school or equivalency is required. Associates degree; or equivalent experience; is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Work requires the theoretical and conceptual knowledge associated with an Associate’s degree.
Minimum Experience/Training Required
- This position requires five or more years related technical experience.
- Training includes on the job training. Degree of physical effort and environment: Normal work fatigue. Normally safe environment.
- Typical electronic manufacturing/laboratory/office environment.
- Some work subject to frequent hand/eye coordination, lifting/carrying of objects or operating equipment.
- Work may be subject to moderately unpleasant conditions. (Applies to biohazard only.)
- Interview preferences: anticipate interviews with up to 3 people representing each of these three areas: Management, Technical and Team. Initial interview will be phone screen, second/third interview will be onsite/video.
