Job Title : Microbiologist 2

Location : San Diego, CA

Duration : 6 Months

Overview :

HM is handling 4 departments within company including microbiology.

Currently 3 in the team and one specialist, Yolanda is the supervisor.

They have small teams in other sites too – AZ and Malaysia.

This team provides support with questions and project updates.

Experience / Skills / Day to day :

Need of a microbiologist due to additional workload. Looking to fill ASAP.

Part of day-to-day would be making sure test cases are completed. Additional help with special projects and additional support within the team.

Lab setting, support the cleanroom, compress air / gases, risk assessment.

Making sure standards and precautions are followed with processes.

Perform excursion investigations, microbiology investigations, cross environmental duties.

Execute the testing and utilize the results for reporting and analysis.

Adequate training will be provided. Looking for a medical device background and working in lab settings.

Must haves :

2-4 years of experience working in a lab setting handling microbiology processes. HM would prefer more experience.

Must be from a medical devices background

Someone flexible, a good team player, stable and collaborative.

Verse with GMP compliance and ISO standard guidelines.

Open to STEM, if they worked in lab settings and have experience in microbiology.

Standard Mon – Fri, 8 to 5 shifts.

100% onsite. Would prefer someone local but open to someone willing to relocate at their expense.

Working on rate review. Leveled up to Microbiologist 2.

Pending rate review. Amanda to confirm on or before Friday.

Strictly 6 months, possibility to extend but no conversion options available at this time.
