Title: Process Development Engineer
Duration: 06 months (possible extension or conversion into FTE)
Location: Plymouth, MN 55442
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM (M-F)
Starting rate: $28/hr
Position overview:
The Electrophysiology division is seeking a talented individual to join our team focused on ablation catheter development. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and validation of new product and equipment processes. This position requires a strong understanding of process development and validation methodologies. Responsibilities include designing and conceptualizing processes for fixtures and equipment, collaborating with global team members, including colleagues in Costa Rica, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in process development and validation (Installation Qualification - IQ).
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in any industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace, semiconductor).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Software development experience.
- Proficiency in Minitab for data analysis.
- Background in the medical device industry.
- Experience working with equipment and fixtures, including machine shop processes.
- Knowledge of process validation (Operational Qualification - OQ, Performance Qualification - PQ).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (highly preferred).
- Ability to write protocols, manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and similar documentation.
Education:
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field).
Salary : $28 - $32
