Title: Project Manager
Duration: 5 months
Location: New York City, NY 10281 (Hybrid -1x a week)
Pay Rate: $74.52/hr.
Department Description:
- The Global Banking & Markets provides a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients.
- Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange and precious & metals.
- We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Banks' Group.
Typical Day in Role:
- Participate with the team in working with the business lines and internal stakeholders in understanding the regulatory framework and developing systems and processes to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with the PMO Project Manager responsible for the delivery of the Mortgage Capital Markets Program.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, and progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Support with the development of a Target Operating Model/RACI as part of organizational readiness.
- Adhere to the Enterprise Delivery Framework and associated artifacts and documentation for project governance.
- Attend program meetings, meeting minutes, and serve as program secretary.
- Provide and maintain project related documentation including meeting minutes, Risks & Issues logs, project plans, and task lists.
- Administrative duties include folder organization and calendar management.
- Maintain databases and internal tools used for tracking progress, regulatory developments, and documentation.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 8 years experience as a Project Manager in a Financial Institution.
- Strong Documentation Skills (ex. Taking minutes, providing weekly executive summaries).
- Financial, accounting, computer literacy and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills (ex. Creating professional decks).
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with mortgage warehouse lending an asset.
- Familiarity with online project management tools and websites (including basic webpage maintenance capabilities).
Education:
- University degree in business, finance, IT, and/or relevant experience.
