Overview:
Join clients Enterprise Master Data Management and Data Governance Technology programs as a Scrum Master. Your expertise in Agile practices will be pivotal in delivering innovative, mastered, and governed data solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data product owners, solution architects, data engineers, and business SMEs, to foster a culture of continuous learning and exceptional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Advocate for Agile values and principles to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality data solutions.
- Partner with product owners and technical leads to develop and maintain a prioritized, well-groomed product backlog.
- Collaborate with Team to define and refine features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution among team members.
- Assist team members in navigating roadblocks and mitigating interferences that may impede progress.
- Manage risks and resolve impediments effectively.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, ceremony facilitation, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Exceptional servant leadership and people management skills for guiding high-performing teams of data professionals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Jira Align, and Miro.
Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum techniques.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in delivering complex, high-value data solutions.
- Familiarity with Chief Data Office environments is preferred.
- Background in Financial Services or Insurance sectors is a plus.
