Primary Objective:
The Software Engineer is a full stack engineer who is passionate about building elegant and robust software that directly advances Spectrio’s products and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Writes code that is well designed, testable, efficient, clean, and secure using modern software development tools.
- Collaborates with software engineers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA testers to deliver high quality software in a timely manner.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions through written documentation, diagrams, code comments, and clear code.
- Supports team and individual growth by providing code reviews, constructive feedback, and adhering to high standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of professional experience designing and/or coding large web applications and scalable micro services utilizing modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Expert problem solver capable of handling complex technical challenges
- Strong programming skills in Typescript, Javascript, Python, C# or similar languages (Java, Kotlin, C/C , or PHP)
- Proficient with Angular, Node.js, REST, MongoDB, NestJS, and relational DBs
- Experience with AWS including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, ELB, & CloudFront
- Experience with Linux and open source web servers
- Background in mobile development (Android, iPhone) is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast paced Scrum environment using Jira is a plus
- Strong understanding of SQA and testing methodologies are a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus
- Ability to write Test cases and Test Plans from Engineering documentation
- Able to support the Engineering team with triage, debugging, and validation of software issues
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in task completion
- Highly professional with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with decisive judgment skills
*Position is Remote. Considering candidates in the Southeast U.S. including FL, NC & TX .
