Primary Objective:
As the Digital Marketing Web Designer, you will ensure the optimal performance, security, and user experience (UX/UI) of the company’s websites. This role involves maintaining, updating, and improving web content and functionality to drive engagement, lead generation, and support marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with marketing, design, and IT teams to ensure the websites reflect the brand identity, align with business goals, and leverage UX/UI best practices to enhance navigation, usability, and conversion rates.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the day-to-day functionality of company websites, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Update and publish content across pages in coordination with the content and marketing teams.
- Monitor site performance (traffic, speed, SEO, and security), and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new site features or enhancements.
- Manage hosting environments, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), and domain registrations.
- Ensure websites meet best practices in SEO, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Track analytics and generate reports on website traffic and user behavior.
- Stay up-to-date with trends, tools, and best practices in web development and digital marketing.
- Serve as a core member of the Marketing Team, ensuring the website reflects marketing goals, brand identity, and campaign messaging.
- Leverage UX/UI best practices to optimize site navigation, usability, and conversion rates, supporting marketing and lead generation efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on web design, layout, messaging, and digital storytelling, ensuring all website updates align with brand standards, marketing strategies, and customer engagement best practices.
- Support marketing initiatives by creating landing pages, campaign microsites, and promotional web content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years years of experience in a webmaster, web developer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO principles, and website optimization tools, with hands-on experience using CMS plugins/add-ons.
- Experience in digital design and familiarity with UX/UI principles required.
- Basic knowledge of server management and website hosting.
- Experience with website security, backup, and recovery protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring brand consistency and quality in all design deliverables.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and how they integrate with websites.
- Familiarity with web compliance standards (ADA, GDPR, etc.).
*Position is Remote. Considering candidates in the Southeast U.S. including FL, NC & TX .
