What Will You Be Doing?
As an EHS Technician at Spectro Alloys, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring environmental, health, and safety standards are met. You’ll work closely with the EHS Manager to implement and maintain programs that promote a safe and compliant workplace. Your role will include environmental compliance, safety audits, and training employees to ensure the highest standards are always met.
Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Monitor waste disposal, air emissions, and water treatment processes to ensure environmental compliance
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a safe environment
- Support accident prevention programs, including PPE compliance and machine guarding
- Assist with hazardous materials handling and maintain proper safety documentation
- Train employees on safety procedures, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response protocols
- Continuously identify opportunities for safety improvements and culture enhancement
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Positive, proactive team member with a positive attitude and a commitment to safety.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or recycling
- Familiar with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations
- Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety training
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Requirements:Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Education & Experience:
- Required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Required: 1-3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or recycling.
- Preferred: Experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Required: Familiar with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
- Required: Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety training.
- Required: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Required: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery.
- Comfortable with handling hazardous materials and working in various conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Certifications & Training (Preferred but not required):
- OSHA 30/40-Hour, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

- Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen (Safety first!).
