About The Job
At Spectro Cloud, we are in search of a talented individual to become an integral part of our Engineering team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Palette platform. We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance team and play a pivotal role in managing and developing automated tests for our flagship Kubernetes management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Design and develop automated tests for our distributed platform's core capabilities and features, ensuring high quality and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive testing strategy and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Leverage your extensive experience to develop automation tests for both API and UI components.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and provide expertise in troubleshooting and debugging.
- Utilize hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) to enhance testing processes.
- Highly preferred : Lead the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang Based Test Framework like Ginkgo / Go-dog.
- Champion best practices and methodologies in testing to maintain high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with management to set strategic goals for the automation team and track progress toward those goals.
