COMPANY OVERVIEW
SpectronRx is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, IN, with additional locations in South Bend and Bunker Hill, IN, Danbury, CT and Europe. We are seeking an experienced AP/Bookkeeper to join our growing company. The AP/Bookkeeper will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
· Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
· Code documents according to company procedures.
· Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
· Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.
· Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
· Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
· Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
· Work with various internal stakeholders to maintain accurate records and movement of fixed assets.
· Process full cycle accounts payable.
· Analyze and resolve purchasing issues/discrepancies.
· Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
· Other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
- Exemplary Customer Service skills
- Time Management skills
- PC and Microsoft Office skills
· Must be able to learn accounting software systems.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable preferred.
· NetSuite ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to train and be trained
- Bachelor’s degree required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Pass a Background Check.
